Purpose The study aims to analyze the innovative practices carried out in collaborative complex city of Caruaru-PE. Design/methodology/approach research is qualitative, through a single-case Plural Colab. In data analysis, authors have used content analysis technique. Findings results demonstrate explanatory strength approach practices, highlighting people's daily engagement real work innovation, which usually goes unnoticed traditional approaches and models. Originality/value This becomes essential given need management research. addition, studies focused on innovation are generally directed large companies, leaving aside reality micro small business (MSBs) managers.
